NCCPL Agreements and Privileges for Regular and Associate Members

NCCPL Regular Members:

1. May participate in the NCCPL Resource Sharing including Direct Borrowing privileges and free ILL.
2. Must contribute journal holdings information to either Docline or OCLC to participate in free article ILL among member libraries.
3. Must contribute monographic holdings to OCLC to participate in free monographic ILL among member libraries.
4. May participate in group purchasing discounts for online databases.
5. May have password access to the members mailing list posted on the NCCPL.org website.
6. Have voting privileges in NCCPL.

NCCPL Associate Members:

1. May participate in group purchasing.
2. Must contribute journal holdings information to either Docline or OCLC to participate in free article ILL among member libraries.
3. Must contribute monographic holdings to OCLC to participate in free monographic ILL among member libraries.
4. Do not qualify for direct borrowing although referrals may be made for on-site use of other member library collections.
5. Do not have voting privileges in NCCPL.
6. May have password access (same as #6 above).
